Preamble

Khurddokalana Protibondhi Kallyan Sangstha is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in the Naogaon district of Bangladesh. The organization was established on 13 February 2012, involving 31 persons with disabilities with support from its own initiatives. Now, the organization has a total of 600 members, among them male 345 and female 255. The organization implements its activities, ensuring the equal participation of men and women with disabilities.

According to the organization's bylaws, there are 31 members in its General Committee, and nine members are in the Executive Committee. The staff and volunteers implement the organizational activities following the directives of the General Secretary/ Executive Director. Through the direct involvement of men and women with disabilities, the organization is working to promote the rights of persons with disabilities and improve their lives with support from government and non-government organizations.

Besides, the organization strives to partner with mainstreaming organizations for Disability Inclusion in their programs by ensuring the active and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities and providing capacity-building and technical assistance.
